Courtney Love Gets Into Twitter Trouble Again

Remember back in March when Courtney Love settled a defamation lawsuit that was brought against her and the things she said on her official Twitter profile? Yeah, well … she’s at it again. After that legal matter was settled, Courtney got back on Twitter and started running her mouth again. Now she’s being sued by [...]

A red band movie trailer for the US version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, directed by David Fincher and starring Rooney Mara & Daniel Craig, is currently showing in theaters in Europe but has yet to be released here in the US. A bootleg version of the trailer has made its way online and it is a MUST SEE for Dragon Tattoo and Nine Inch Nails fans alike. The trailer features a Nine Inch Nails cover of the Led Zeppelin song Immigrant Song with vocals by Karen O. of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Check out this amazing red band trailer for Dragon Tattoo below.

Holy shizz … this film looks amazing. I know that fans of the original Swedish films may balk at a US version but, as I’ve said all along, David Fincher will do the films justice — I know it! With a soundtrack by Trent Reznor of NIN, it’s a can’t miss film! I love the original films and can recognize each and every scene featured in this new trailer … it looks good y’all. I don’t know how I’m gonna make it until Xmas to see this film but … yeah, I am excited!

Celebrity Engagement Rings (PHOTOS)

With all this talk about Kim Kardashian’s engagement ring, I thought it would be fun to take a look at some other celebrity engagement rings, and do some comparing! Kim Kardashian’s engagement ring is all anyone is talking about and it’s easy to see why. The ring is a Lorraine Schwartz design – 16.5 carats, emerald cut center stone, edged by two 2-carat trapezoids. All in all it is a total of 20.5 carats, and $20 million! The second most talked about engagement is of course that of Prince William and Kate Middleton. It was a very special ring, as he gave her his mother’s ring, an 18-carat oval sapphire ring, that is surrounded by 14 smaller white diamonds. Originally it cost $65,000, but given the circumstances, it is now considered priceless. Hilary Duff’s 14-carat diamond engagement ring set hubby, Mike Comrie, back by a cool $1 million. Mariah Carey has a 17- carat, one of a kind Jacob and Co. emerald cut diamond, with a 10-carat pink center stone, surrounded by 58 pink diamonds and two half moon-cut diamonds and is worth $2.5 million. Katherine Heigl has one of the more unique pieces, a 3-carat pear shaped ring, designed [...]

Looking For A DJ For Your Next Big Event?

An article about the aria "Toreador" from Bizet's opera "Carmen", dedicated to my beautiful friend from Argentina, Marcela Vanmak; who also happens to be a very talented poet. Marcela's ability being such that I am glad she writes in Spanish, as that way I do not have to compete with her yet it is in the spirit of her splendor that I would sing this lovely aria.

Million Dollar Quartet: Rockabilly on Broadway

Rockabilly performer and former Elvis impersonator, Shawn Barker has been taking his Johnny Cash tribute show called "The Man in Black" on the road to resounding success. Barker performs songs that span the entirety of Cash's career--from the Sun recordings to the last work Cash did with Rick Rubin--but his on-stage persona is that of a young Cash, say about early 1960s.
